Calling All Design Stars!-

Gecko Galz is adding to their  team...please read the following and find out if you are the design star for them!

Gecko Galz is an online Paper crafting company which has new products that come out every month including a new paper line, 6 new Collage sets, digital stamps, and other products that inspire scrapbookers, card makeers and ATC artist. We are holding a Design Team search. Our Design team is a little diffrent than most, every member is sent digital products each month. We will be taking submissions from now through June 1, 2012.

We are seeking talented designers, who are passionate about Paper crafting and inspiring our customers through their works, to add to our team. As a Design Team member, you will serve a critical role in promoting our products and  website on message boards, the blogs, magazines and representing the company where ever you can. You are welcome to be on other design teams and we ask that you supply us with one or more samples using our products each month.

As a member of our Design Team, you will be asked to:
1. create at least one sample each month using the papers and collage sheets and/or digital stamps, you may submit as many as you want to each month though.
2. Supply us with a short bio and photo of yourself to be placed on our website.

3. join our online DT chat room
4. agree to share your designs and mention us on your blogs, chat boards, etc.

All projects made with our products remain your property though we may ask to publish them in our book collections.

Your compensation will be:
1. All of our products released from July 2012-January 2013.

2. Recognition on our website with a link to your blog and your own design page.

3. Incredible friendships & publishing opportunities

5. a list of your current scrapbooking commitments - other DT work, etc.

Gecko Galz April Guest Artist; PAM COLISIMO

This month Gecko Galz is pleased to share another wonderful paper crafting Artist Pam Colisimo. Her work is a lovely blend of imagination and classic style. So just who is Pam? well we thought it would be nice to let her tell you in her own words!

Hello my name is Pam...and I am a Scrapaholic........
I am a 'Mother' to 4 beautiful Daughters,
'Grand' Mother to 3 beautiful Granddaughters and 2 handsome Grandsons.
I love children and their unique perspective.
I have been scribbling books of thoughts and memories since I learned how to write.
I didn't know it was a form of scrap booking at the time,
but I have always put little word stories with my photo's.
I have been scrapping about 11 years .
As much as I love to scrap book,
my muse takes me to the altered side of this craft.
Thanks to The Gecko Galz, I am a very recent convert to using digital images.

Gecko Galz Annual Retreat....sooooo much fun!

Hi Everyone!
A couple of weeks agao we had our first annual Gecko Galz Retreat....The Mad Scrappers Scrap Party!  I thought it might be fun to share some of the pictures of all the ladies and the fun stuff we did.

This is the whole lot of us having fun and scrapping our days away!

We had a wonderful time at Premier Estates in Wallis Texas and will be having our Second annual Retreat the February 8-10 2013.

Create one project using Gecko Galz products and create a Valentine project. The winner of the challenge will get an exclusive valentine digital stamp set by Gecko Galz (not available for sale).  Ends February 28th

LUCK O THE IRISH CHALLENGE
Take the Image that is posted in the "Photos" section of this site and create a project using the image then post your project in the photos area in the folder marked "Luck O The Irish" and on the 17th everyone who has taken part will be placed in a random give away. SPRING HAS SPRUNG CHALLENGE
Butterflies, Pixies, and flowers OH MY! Time to get your spring on. In this challenge create a spring inspired project and use and least one Gecko Galz item. The winner of this challenge will win 5 sets of digi collage sets (of their choice) from the Gecko Galz website. Ends April 20th

FEBRUARY CONTEST

Gecko Galz is looking for Guest Designers...Could it be You?

Gecko Galz is looking for 12 guest designers who will be featured artist on our blogsite and News letter, one each month in 2012.

Do you like working with collage images and digital stamps?

Do you like to come up with fun exciting projects that will wow and inspire others? Then this might be a fun way to share your creative talents.

To be considered for a spot just send us 4 recent samples of your work it can be anything and you do not have to use Gecko Galz products to be considered. Send samples to us at geckogalz@yahoo.com and in the header please put the words “Gecko Galz Guest Designer”

 And the good news is International entries are welcome!

If we choose you to be a Guest Designer for one of our months you will receive that months product which will include all 5 of the collage sets, the jewelry collage sheets for that month, the paper set, and the digital stamp set for that month. Plus $25 in digital products of your choice from our site.

Now what we would like from you if you are picked is a short bio about yourself, a link to any blogs or online galleries you may have, and 5 samples that we will post with your write up. This is a great way for you to gain exposure for your work.
