EASTER BLESSINGS CARD

EGG  HUNT SHRINE

Paint the bottom and the edges of a 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 hollow wooden block with gesso.

When dry, rub the bottom and edges with Adirondack Ink in Pesto

Print out EP05 from the Easter Parade digital paper pack

Cut into five equal squares to cover five sides of the block, excluding the bottom.  Ink all edges of the paper, then adhere to the wooden block using a Scotch Craft Stick.

Print out the Egg Hunt image from Easter Parade Icons 1, included in the April Kit.  Distress edges, then adhere to the front of the block.

Add small buttons and a bold graphic self-stick cloth tape trim at the bottom.   Add feet if desired and paint to match.

Print out the bunny image from Easter Parade Icons 2 at 3" x 5".  Print it again using mirror image for the back side.

Using the Scotch Craft Stick, adhere one of the bunny images to a piece of  65 lb weight white cardstock, and then fussy cut.  The extra layer of paper will make your bunny sturdier.

Fussy cut the mirror image, cover with Scotch Craft Stick, and carefully adhere to the back side of the other bunny image, lining it up perfectly to the other side.  You will now have a two-sided and very sturdy bunny image.

Use a thin line of hot glue to adhere the bunny image to the center of the block.  Surround the image with moss and plastic bird eggs to further secure the bunny to the block.  Embellish with flower vines and other desired embellishments.

Monthly Question:  "What is the most exciting thing to happen to you in your paper crafting career?"

My most exciting moment was the first time I was accepted on a Design Team.  It was several years ago, and I had only recently begun to paper craft, and didn't even have a blog yet.  I did have a youtube channel, so I completed the two required audition projects, and applied to the call.  I was totally shocked, but really excited when I got an acceptance email.  It never hurts to try, you just might be pleasantly surprised!
