December Artist Spotlight part Two

I wanted to share another set of fantastic artist with you from the DYSU design team. We were fortunate enough to sponser a challenge on their blog site earlier this month and a handful of their design team came up with some amazing samples using Gecko Galz products. We hope you enjoy their work as much as we enjoyed it. Each month we will be sponsering a guest artist and if you would like to be considered for this please contact us at geckogalz@yhaoo.com .

Pandy Grenville-Evans
I am a calligrapher at heart.  I scribe texts, make cards, albums and books, scribe poems in my books, make scrapbook pages and work to order.

My style is modern and colourful, with layers and textures, very touchy, feely.  I love papers, ribbons and contrasts - anything and everything to do with paper and ink that keeps me busy!  I craft by solely by hand, from scratch.  I use a knife and rule – and I cut out most of the shapes I use myself.  This does mean that the off knife mark might show – hay, proves it’s real - that is what hand crafting is all about. My fave thing are my inks - alcohol inks - Copics -  distress - acrylic - all yummie

I try as much as I can to include other crafters, as well as craft buyers.  I am always keen to explain how I have made a card, or how a certain technique is done, I make toppers for people to use in their own work and regularly post ‘how to make’ projects and helpful information.

MARY EASON

Hi everyone, my name is Mary. I'm a married SAHM of 2 teens, who keep me hopping. In between the massive amounts of daily driving, I try to sneak in time for a bit of card making and scrapbooking. I began scrapbooking about 7 years ago and card making shortly thereafter.  I lean toward Clean and Simple in my crafting but love trying other styles. Last summer I was lucky to be chosen to join the Design Team at the Do You Stack Up challenge blog. As one of our sponsors, Gecko Galz provided me with some fabulous images to play with. I love how unique and cool the images are and had so much fun creating with them. A big thank you to Gecko Galz for the fabulous product and for this opportunity.
