This month we are please to introduce all of you to another one of our amazing design team members. This time we are turning our spotlight on Valerie Tups. Her work is amazing and very art influenced...so lets learn more about her!
How long have you been paper crafting?
As long as I can remember!
What is your favorite kind of projects to do?
Mixed media, collage and art journaling
In the industry who do you most admire and
why?
I like using stencils from many firms.
What brands (besides Gecko Galz) do you enjoy
working with?
I prefer to use recycling materials.
What is the one thing in your crafting tote that
you cannot live without?
Gesso.
Where have you been published?
I wrote 2 books while I was still teaching,
and had poems published in several anthologies. I do not want my work published
in magazines, where the publishers make a fortune with other people's work.
What is the best thing about being on the
Gecko Galz Design team?
Having a large supply of images and stamps to
work with.
What is your favorite scrapbook shop and where
is it located?
LaBlanche, Germany
How would you describe your crafting style?
Eclectic, original, true to myself.
If you could have a job in the crafting world
what would it be and why?
Doing tutorials to help people make things.
