OCTOBER DESIGN TEAM SPOTLIGHT.....DIANE BOVE

This month we are so pleased to be able to introduce to you another amazing member of our Design Team, Diane Bove. She has been a constant well of inspirations to all our followers and her amazing cards are breath taking. Here is a bit about this talented card artist!

How long have you been paper crafting?

I have been paper crafting for probably the last 30 years or so, but I was introduced to card making 14 years ago at a Stampin Up party.

What is your favorite kind of projects to do?

5 x 7 greeting cards

In the industry who do you most admire and why?

There are so many talented bloggers I follow and admire, I couldn't possibly pick one.

What brands (besides Gecko Galz) do you enjoy working with?  

I also enjoy working with items I make using my KNK Zing and the Make the Cut software program. I make stencils, frames and die cut cards.

What is the one thing in your crafting tote that you cannot live without?

Art Glitter Glue dries clear adhesive, my favorite glue, I use it for everything.

Where have you been published?

As a winner of the Papercraft Magazine 2008 World Card Day Contest, my winning card submission was featured in the March/April 2009 newsstand issue. I have been published numerous times in Ready Set Create, Scrapbook News and Review, and Whimsical Musings Magazine.

What is the best thing about being on the Gecko Galz Design team?

I love all the papers and collage sheets I get to work with, I was a Gecko Galz fan long before I was on the design team.

What is your favorite scrapbook shop and where is it located?

My Craft Room 6020 Rochester Rd, Troy Mi. They have a great selection of new products I can't find anywhere else.

How would you describe your crafting style?

Colorful yet simple and easy, and always with a matching lined envelope.

If you could have a job in the crafting world what would it be and why?

Teaching, I love helping people and love to share how easy it is to get great results with a minimum amount of effort..
